DEDICATION

To my son in Heaven and to all our loved ones that have gone before us. So many that we grieve for each day, children, spouses, parents, and dear friends. Life is not fair, but we know that one day we will be with them again. To George Wilkinson, PGP and Juanita Wilkinson, PGM and dearest friend. When are you going to “put your name in” was almost a daily question from George. I was so happy to be able to let him know that I had and was elected as AGC in 2022. I know that George is smiling down and pleased that he persisted. Juanita, I cannot thank you enough for all your advice and encouragement. Just so everyone knows, once a page, always a page. Juanita I am still your page…

To the many Past Grand Matrons that have answered questions along the way, some are gone, some are here tonight. You have provided advice, paperwork, and words of wisdom. Your experience is invaluable and greatly appreciated. I found in my life to always listen to advice. It gives you varying perspectives on any situation and helps you make valid decisions. I don’t always do what is suggested but I always listen.

To my chapters, Ruth #16 (my primary chapter), Moss Bluff #242, and Thelma Hackett #225. The support from my sisters and brothers of these chapters has meant the world to me. It is so great to come “home” to friends.

To my loving husband/chauffeur, “just the husband”.  You have graciously carted me across the state and nation. I love you with all my being. To my DIL, grandson, and number two son and family, I have missed many events with this journey, but in a while, I will be home.
